Geriatric Therapeutic Massage:
For the Independent Living / Assisted Living / Hospice Resident and Palliative Patient
My Geriatric Therapeutic Treatments are open to clients currently residing in Independent / Assisted Living Residences and are ideal for those wishing to improve / maintain flexibility and mobility, circulation, immune system and digestive function, and healthy sleep patterns and can help decrease anxiety, pain, and muscle tension arising from post-surgery healing, overuse, fatigue, injury, degenerative disease, illness, postural malalignment, and more - all in the comfort of your own home.
✓Assessments / treatments adaptable to massage table, treatment chair, or your wheelchair / bed.
✓Light to deep pressure and use of a wide variety of Swedish and other massage techniques, joint mobilizations, and home care instruction to help achieve your goals.
✓Relaxing Warm / Hot Stone Hydrotherapy for suitable clients at no additional charge.
✓Aromatherapy incorporated into treatment for increased mental and musculoskeletal relaxation or to aid in respiratory decongestion at no additional charge.
✓Lymphatic drainage for the management of swelling and circulatory health can be incorporated into treatment for suitable clients at no additional charge.
✓Payment by cash or e-transfer only; receipt provided for insurance reimbursement.
My Palliative Care Treatments offer significant benefits for patients at all stages of their end-of-life journey and will focus on their individual circumstances and needs. Dignity, comfort, relaxation, and maintaining quality of life are at the core of these sessions as I aim to provide soothing, compassionate touch and human connection to help ease you or your loved one through your / their transition.
✓Therapies available to help reduce pain and improve comfort, sleep, and quality of life for the palliative patient (see 'geriatric massage' section above for additional details, though keep in mind that palliative treatments are gentler by nature and employ techniques that are far less taxing on the body. These include breathing exercises, raking of the hair, stroking, static contact, gentle squeezing and others) as well as personalized, basic massage instruction to the patient's family if desired so that they may safely and confidently continue to provide comforting touch therapy.

Corporate / Workplace / Event Massage: For Employee Wellness
Treat your guests / staff to a little pampering and show them how much their wellness means to you. These fully-clothed treatments are fast, convenient, and are the perfect event / workday pick-me-up. Whether your staff / guests would like treatment for tense muscles (hands, forearms, feet back, neck, shoulders... so many possibilities!), hot stone relaxation, or even a stimulating scalp or facial contouring massage, my treatments offer something for everyone.
✓Assessments to ensure employees get the most out of their treatments.
✓Treatments available using massage chair or table.
✓Treatments are fast but effective and do not require removal of clothing.
✓Hot stone massage can be incorporated into treatments for suitable clients at no extra charge.
✓Aromatherapy incorporated into treatment for increased mental and musculoskeletal relaxation or to aid in respiratory decongestion at no additional charge.
✓Lymphatic drainage / buccal massage / near infrared, red, and blue light therapy facial contouring can be incorporated into treatments for suitable clients at no extra charge.
✓Sign-up sheet / outlook appointments for individuals available OR choose drop-in option.
✓Time slots can range from 10 - 30 minutes per employee (with 10 minutes required between sessions for record-keeping, sanitation, and cleaning of equipment etc.) and all treatments will be of the same length.
✓Minimum 2 hour booking is required and for bookings longer than 4 hours, one 30 minute break will be required. Please book additional / recurrent visits well in advance to ensure availability.
✓Note that only the 30 minutes-per-person treatment option will be eligible for individual receipts (so that employees will be able to submit their individual receipts to bill through employee benefits) - for treatments 20 minutes and under, the employer is issued one receipt and is responsible for the cost of the service.
